Nestled in the heart of Corydon, Indiana, The Alibi emerges as a charming bar and grill that embodies the spirit of a classic dive, yet resonates with a fresh, inviting atmosphere. Patrons speak highly of the friendly staff, with many noting the exceptional service from the bartenders. Joe Kauffeld describes it as a haven where you can mingle with diverse locals and even meet some cheerful dogs, giving it a warm, community-focused vibe. First-time visitors, like Elise Cullinane, are instantly captivated by the lively atmosphere, likening it to a scene from a Judd Apatow movie. The Alibi is not just a place to grab a drink; it's where you feel embraced as family, regardless of how many times you’ve walked through its doors. Food-wise, reviews commend the quality—David Criss particularly enjoyed the perfectly cooked chicken tenders, while Tyler Boyer highlighted the establishment's cleanliness and enjoyable menu options. Despite a few patrons mentioning the nostalgic smokiness reminiscent of old cafes, The Alibi has successfully transformed into a family-friendly venue where laughter and enjoyment abound. A standout spot in a small town where options dwindle early, The Alibi is perfect for those looking to enjoy great food and wonderful company in a relaxed setting.

The Alibi is a great stop. Friendly bartender, good food, great people, everybody's chill, and you never know who's gonna walk in the door next. Meet a very happy dog there. 5/5 stars. Photo of the sign that made me laugh.

First time at the Alibi this past Sat. Was like walking in to a Judd Apatow movie... to ppl doing the electric slide between re-purposed couches and snugly fit pool tables. Music abounding, spirits pouring, happiness exuding. A spectacular time, if you love dive bars. They made us feel like family tho we'd never been there before. Highly recommend! (not for those with sensory issues unless they prepare).

If you remember what cafe bars once were, or would just like to know, stop in at Lisa's. The burger and fries was good, the brewed tea better. Play some pool on the coin op tables and relax in 1960 once again. Do be aware it's a smoker's cafe and if you don't recall what that's like it's a bit smokey in the air and a tad dirty. But hey, this is what they all once we're and not so many remain. November 2022. New owners. It was called Lisa's if i recall, now it's Alibi. It's much better, non-smoking, my chicken tenders were cooked perfectly and of huge size. Iced tea was very good. There's a larger room in the back. It still reminds me of the old school bar& grill, but this one is definitely family friendly, and i really enjoy that kind atmosphere. My only suggestion is toast the hamburger bun. It's a bit of a shocker biting into a cold bun. Otherwise, good job!

Probably the coolest little small town bar I've ever been to. Variety of people, clean environment. They serve food in a small town where everything shuts down early.

All employees were fabulous. I don't know the blonde that took care of my order but she was on the ball and brought it to me. Bobby was professional and kind and took care of it all. I cannot say enough nice things about it. The hard rain kept people home and while the creek was rising this fabulous band, "Red Dirt Road", kept us dancing, singing along to support them. Good times were had by all. I'd recommend this band if you are needing to book someone. I'll post pics I took.

Fun bar with great food and friendly staff! Good music on the weekend with pool tournaments on Sunday and trivia on Monday’s.

Quaint little pub like atmosphere. Food was reasonably priced and large portions. They offer live music in the back room. We got a kick out of the men's room sign(phallic symbol) and the free condoms in the women's room. Highly recommend.
